Earrings

These earrings are made
of alumina, which is a technical
ceramic used in industry and is extremely strong, having
3 times the strength of porcelain. But as it is a white ceramic
material we can decorate it in any method used on porcelain.
These have been glazed all over and then decorated with
mother of pearl lustre which gives the impression of oil on
water, picking up colours around them.
The hangings and hooks are silver. Various shapes and sizes available.
This picture shows black
alumina which has exactly the
same properties as the above white alumina with coloured glazes.
Here we have used opaque white glaze to decorate with
which we then highlighted in platinum lustre.

This half round shaped earring, here
in porcelain and terracotta is
very attractive being decorated on both sides they always look
good.
There are lots of colour combination for the two colour ones,
and various designs in platinum add an extra bit of interest.

The combination of half rounds
and tubes are reminiscent of
Egypt so we call these our Egyptian earrings.
With beautiful glaze colours and lustre decoration they
look very elegant.

These heart earrings are about
12mm wide and 5mm thick
and come in this great range of colours. The tiny glass beads
top and bottom come in various colours.
These earrings may look heavy they
are
actually hollow, made from porcelain they
start life as a long hollow square extrusion.

We make tubes in various sizes,
5mm and 6mm diameters and various lengths,
which we then do lots of colour combinations on,

The tiny porcelain beads have been glazed and then
given a wash of mother of pearl lustre, the tiny
hematine shape can be a star or as here hearts.
